All Video Assets

The below deliverables are needed for all video assets. These assets become part of the larger discovery+ marketing library and are used by domestic and international teams. Please alert the discovery+ Asset Management Team if there are any restrictions and include in the delivery folder.

Upload Final Video Assets to the Network Deliveries Folder

1. Post all deliverables in the relevant Network Deliveries subfolder within 48 of master delivery
2. All files should be separated out into a consistent folder structure within the relevant Network Deliveries subfolder
   • SHOW NAME
   • Separate folder for: TRAILER (when/if applicable) and PROMO, with subfolders:
     • Masters
     • Submasters
     • Viewing Copies
     • AEP/GFX Project
     • Restrictions Info (doc)
     • Music Cue Sheet (doc)
     • Talent List (doc)
3. Files should include descriptive filenames, so each deliverable is distinguishable. For example, add the following to the end of the corresponding files:
   • xxxx_MASTER
   • xxxx_SUBMASTER
   • xxxx_VIEWING
4. Required deliverables for each video asset:
   1. Masters
   2. Submasters
   3. Viewing copies (16×9)
   4. Music Cue Sheet
   5. Talent List
   6. AEP Project
   7. Restrictions document
5. Include and inform the discovery+ Asset Management Team upon upload of any materials; use subject line: “NETWORK NAME XX – NEW DELIVERY” 
6. Continue to follow the specific guidelines from d+ Marketing Team

Trailer Delivery Process

All in-app trailers will be delivered like show content and will be assigned a Property ID/PAID number.

• Alert DEAL team if delivery will be internal or external at the beginning of trailer production
• Internal deliveries: Delivered by Discovery producer or editor through DEAL
• External deliveries: If being delivered by an external vendor, that vendor will need to be attached to the deliverable and set up to deliver via Producers Portal if they are not already
• Master delivery specs: Global Tech Specs
• After delivery to Producers Portal/DEAL, final master, submaster, viewing copy, music cue sheet and any restriction information are required at time of delivery to be posted in relevant Network Deliveries subfolder
